Origin: It is native to Southeast and East Asia, from East Iran to China and Korea
Description: Albizia julibrissin, in Spanish silk tree, silky-flowered acacia or acacia from Constantinople, although it is not a true acacia, but a species of a nearby genus (Albizia) belonging to the subfamily of the Mimosoideas, within the family of the Fabaceae.
It is a deciduous tree that can reach the 15 m of height, with a wide and open cup and numerous twigs, rachis and tomentose inflorescence.
Very widespread in Spain, from Girona to Cadiz.
