Description: Citrus sinensis, orange or sweet orange is a fruit tree of the genus Citrus, which belongs to the family rútaceas. Its white flowers, called orange blossoms, are born isolated or in clusters and are characterized by their exquisite fragrance.Its fruit is the commonly consumed orange.
The orange tree is a medium-sized tree, 3-5 m tall, with a round crown and regular branches. The leaves are perennial, medium and elongated, with rounded base and end in point. The flowers appear in the axils of the leaves, solitary or in clusters.
Orange trees have their origin in India, Pakistan and Vietnam and southeast China and were brought to the west by the Arabs.
