Brahea armata or Erythea armata (blue palm)

Description: The Brahea armata palm reaches a height of up to 15 m, with a solid trunk. Its distinctly bluish leaves are 1-2 m wide, with long petioles. The leaves are persistent in nature, forming a hairy covering all over the trunk, in cultivation they are usually burnt or cut off. The inflorescences extend beyond the crown, reaching up to 5 m in length. The flowers are small and appear in February and March, while the fruits are 18-24 mm long, brown in colour and generally ovoid or globose in shape.

Erythea armata or Brahea armata is available in both container and root ball formats from 15L up to specimens with a trunk length of 2m.
