Origin: Originating in temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere
Description: Thuja is a conifer of the cypress family (Cupressaceae). There are five species in the genus, two native to North America and three east Asian.
They are evergreen trees that grow from 3 meters to 18 meters high, with a reddish brown bark of fibrous texture. The branches are flat, with the side branches in a single plane.
