Description: Photinia is a genus of about 40-60 species of small trees and large shrubs belonging to the family Rosaceae.
Photinias grow up to 3-15 meters tall with an irregular crown of angular branches. The leaves are alternate, whole or finely toothed, varying between the species between 1,5-5 cm wide and 3-15 cm long. Most species are evergreen but there are several deciduous leaves.
